I feel so bloated!!

Ok, stomach upset..feeling weird whole day long.
Reason for it? Haha, been eating too much for the past week...
Seriously, I've been out everyday..for almost every meal...(except breakfast of cos)...

Saturday was a fun day.. haha. Went to cut hair in the morning with ahboy..Had our lunch, and then made our way to Qian Hu Fish Farm for fish spa therapy! Hee..It was a eye-opener...not so much about the fishes but more of seeing him squirm like mad!!
Piangzz...the whole pool of about 8 people, he was the only one who was squirming around, giggling to himself and generally being so unlike himself hahhaa...

It was kinda ticklish lah..imagine 100 fishes nibbling at your feet, your toes, your calves, your ankles..haha. Went for a short walk around the premise after that..Koi, Arowana, Goldfishes (lots of them) and many freshwater aquarium fishes...

Saturday night was MJ night...with the sec sch folks. Darn, everytime I sit facing the window, I will lose $$. That's what happened the other time too!!! Lost $8...

Sunday night...had a nice catch-up dinner with Jenaline. Haa, what else could we talk about? Myself, her sister, her, and of cos...the thing that bound us close together in the first place...LHUB..gossips, scandals, problems, heartaches...aw man...so many things happening in LHUB....

Monday...xmas eve..went into office and lo and behold..there were a few pressies on my desk! Wah lau....paiseh, cos I didn't get anything for others. Only for 3 ladies. Darn, ok, will get stuff next year...
Watched "National Treasure" in the evening...I will say it again. I don't like Nicholas Cage. Not last time when he had more hair...and not now when he has less hair and a paunch.

Sigh..kinda tired...from work & the festivities.. hhaa...

I am happy...

- Met up with some French classmates at Dempsey Road Wine Network just now..Munched on some nice foods and drank this red wine which was pretty good I think...Only thig is that it ended early...We left there at 10-15pm...:)

-Met up with Daniel after that.. haha last minute impromptu meeting..Was gonna head for MJ with Ling & gang till I found out that they cancelled the mj session...So went to Blk 85 for bak chor mee with Dan instead.. ahha...our usual meeting place..Talked for 2.5hrs plus...about me, about him...about others...:)

- I had my best Scrabble ever...seriously. Never ever had such a powerful scrabble ...not even during my competitive days...The word was Evictees...The letter C was already in place...
And this word..garnered me a total of 176 points...I think such an occurrence is so rare that it warrants a mention in this blog...For those not in the know..usually a Scrabble can help you win only about 70-90 over points...crossing 100 is good...wat more..I was almost reaching 200.. ahha...:)))))


I am sad...

- Okok...it's on Scrabble again....damn it. I lost to this lady called Alison..I was leading all the way till I had crappy tiles....argh........:(

- I just found out from Daniel just now. Zorro passed away in August. He didn't tell me till now...sigh...poor thing...he was a very beautiful husky. A little on the plump but his fur was gorgeous...Apparently he has kidney infection, subsequently kidney failure...and he was put on dialysis...was in the vet hospital for a week..till he succumbed to the infection...sigh...:(

- Within the last 2 weeks..I kena so many arrows till I am sorta immune...Only thing is that my blood pressure is probally increasing due to my naturally "kan cheong spider" attitude...I've got 7 papers to write....all due in the 1st week of January....and there are some papers that I have no idea how to do...sigh...:(

The weekend went by with a blurrr...

Had my test on Saturday...The written was tough..We all complained that we didn't have enough time to complete hahaa...
Oral was also tough, but not so tough..Only thing was that I had alot of pauses in between ahha..
I kept going errr...ahhh...uhmmm...

haha...maybe the teacher gave up on me and shooed me out faster.. haha..

Went for a back massage near ahboy's place after the test...wel...hmm..it wasn't that good...somehow those thai massages seem so much better!!

Watched Warlords...1st half of the show was dark, bleak, gory but with enough adrenaline to keep my eyes wide open! And I think I was grabbing ahboy's hand so hard till he poked me to complain... ahha..
2nd half of the show was...zzzzzzz......................dumb plot...And it's such a waste of Takeshi Kaneshiro's talent to have him in such a show...haha..

I have recently discovered the joy of Doritos Nachos Cheese...just a few pieces can make the tummy growl for more hhaa...or should I say the tongue?

And well..Celia will be mighty glad to hear this...but I have recently too become a convert of Subway..

Used to dislike it alot cos I wasn't used to having bread for lunch and the nearest subway was actually kinda far from my previous workplace...haha...
But well...over time I found that it's quite nice actually..and yeah..given that there's a subway directly below my current office.. hehe...;p

Piangzz..even Qibin & Edmund were there.. ahha...

Daniel is back and the first thing I made him do was to fetch me to the wedding dinner haha...
The next thing I did was well....to get him to fetch me back home.. hahhaa...evil I know...;p

Service of the place sucked..but some dishes were quite alright...Dragon Gate @ HarbourFront Centre...And oh, I am so not used to Seng in a tux...

A piece of big news..was that well...our own Evonne...is legally married...
Wah lau and no one knew...If I didn't meet her coincidentally last Friday..and if I didn't ask her about him last night...we might still not have known haha..

Had dinner with Enigma last night..
He was speaking french to me all throughout the MRT ride home...Glad to say that I can understand 95% of what he was saying! haha compared to like 5% of what he was saying last time.. ahha...

And the funny thing was..he was gossipping about others on the train..and they wouldn't have understood.. ahhaa

Nous avons achete KFC, Canadian Pizza et deux gateau de NYDC.

Il y a eu les deux filles du Legal Department, Clarissa et Jessica, Jane, Sandra, Evangeline et moi. Nous avons mange jusqu'a deux heures l'apres midi.

But I was abit emotional.

During lunch, we had a small party. It was the birthdya celebration for Boon Kiat, Aarom, Lester and Jasmine. It was good, a happy occasion.
We bought KFC, Canadian Pizza and 2 cakes from NYDC.

There were the 2 girls from Legal Department, Clarissa & Jessica, Jane, Sandra, Evangeline and me. We ate till 2 in the afternoon.

That dank acridity

It's been 3 and a half years....

The feeling is still there...hidden under a layer of petals...
The fragrance prevails generally and is overpowering at times...
But at times it falters and a dank acridity seeps through the veil...

The fragrance almost always manages to wrap it up again...
Hiding it, overwhelming it, choking it to a quiet retreat..

But once in a while...that once in a while..
It appears. Just to show that it's still there...hidden..but not entirely gone..

I don't like it. I don't at all.
Cuz it reminds me of the times I went against my 6th sense.
Against the better knowledge of my gut..
To step into a shithole..

And it scares me when I choose to ignore my 6th sense again...
Of what might come..

It's tough. Family relationships are hard enough.
Now there's inter-family relationships.

Jackson called me just now...surprise surprise...
The last he called was earlier this year I think..or was it last year?

He composed a short poem today and sms-ed it to me...Good for him..
Did it while on the bus, on his way home from his rehab centre.

He's on new medication...apparently treats him better...mind's clearer than usual...

good lah good...and he's writing poems again..hmm..
encouraged him to jot them in a notebook.....

The past week was really just a blur.. haha..
And my stomach has been overworked..
It's the first time in my life when I've eaten 3 8-course Chinese dinners within a single week...

Thursday's conference with the Chinese delegates was a nightmare...Half the time I couldn't understand what the hell was going on..the conference was 95% in Chinese...
We hosted them for dinner and small talk was a chore to me...cos I had trouble expressing myself haha..

Together with a male colleague, we brought about 5-6 Chinese guys to Wine Bar @ Zouk on Thursday night..gosh...first time there with a bunch of Chinese people...
It was a little weird..sitting there sipping red wine and well..listening them talk in mainland
Chinese.....

Friday night was at Jumbo seafood..The spread was relatively good...pity I couldn't eat much by then...
