Eight of Spades

This was taken awhile back.

More than 6 months ago, on the 2nd last day of 2008.

At a time when I wasn't feeling good about things.

I remember it was a dreary morning, when I was waiting for my bus to arrive.

I noticed a little poker card. It was left stranded on the roadside.

Sitting atop the yellow line bordering the side of the road.

It looked like it felt darn lonely to be there. And so I took a pic of it.

Eight of Spades.

I thought it to be a nice omen cos there was a nice ring to it.
