Friday Night Dinner

Today's uni gathering was kinda disappointing at the start...

Chiewz couldn't make it at the last minute..
Sky was MIA as usual..holidaying in Taiwan..
Mao didn't know of it cos the email addy the notification went to was a wrong one..
Seng had something on liao...
And HB...kaozz...slept till 11pm...befor ehe called us to find out where we were...

So there were only 5 of us..Von, Dan, Kym, XL & me...

Went to Lerk Thai in Marina Square...Food was nice...=)) Affordable and good...
Still hungry so we went NYDC in Suntec...Finger foods & drinks & cakes...

And the bill came up to $74...kaozz...almost twice that of our main dinner... ahha....
Damn NYDC..y are the dumb cakes so expensive??

Danny-boy sent me back...yay! haha...cheapo....=p

Anyway, it was a nice night together in the end...
Took awhile to get our engines started but when it did, man were we coursing at full speed!
haha...lotsa ribbing at the expense of Von as usual...

Us: Kaiping ROM liao...and he's already held his wedding dinner in China, but not in Singapore yet.
Von: Har? Why did he have to hold his dinner in China??
Us: *eyes open wide and chimes in unison* DUHH!!! Obvious right?????
Von: Har? *ponders for 2 more seconds* Oh okokok!!! Now I know....hahahaha...sorry sorry...slow lah.....
Us: Nvm, it's the usual you.. haha...

Joke of the Day #2
Total bill of NYDC = $74. Von paid $30 to Kym before she left.
The rest to be split between me & Kym cos it was supposed to be our treat.

Man oh man...
it took 4 university grads (out of which 2 are bankers) 20 minutes to sort out how much did I have to pay Kym to settle the bills...
Man oh man....

So what have we here??:
1. Apparently Kym has been clubbing at Thumper at least once a week for the past 2months plus??? Since when was he so into clubbing??
Not before he joined SCB lor!! haha....and he's such a regular till the bouncers know him...

2. XL has joined Kym on some of his clubbing endeavours!
And one of their undertakings during such outings is to well...compete with each other to see if they can each get a phone number from a member of the opposite sex and who can do it first... *roll eyes* hahaa....

3. Von is still....well..Von... haha...blur, chirpy, clumsy, enthusiastic...
She was closing a door a few weeks ago when she slammed it on her own pinkie...Got a blackened pinkie fingernail as a result...

4. Dan's last day is next Tuesday...and he'll take the 2 months plus to do the relevant documentation...Going Sydney for about a year to study...Masters in Applied Finance...

Kym kena arrow to be organiser since he's never done one before at all..Venue has been set to either Hanabi at Odeon Towers...Woohoo!! Jap buffet.....
OR Tian Tian Steamboat at Liang Seah Street....woohoo!! lovely simpel steamboat fare!!
