HFMD

And so...both girls are down with hfmd.

After 5 years of Nadya managing to avoid it...she has finally gotten it. I think it started with Alyssa catching it from somewhere or from her class (since 2 other N2 kids have it as well). Alyssa must have spread it to Nadya since they play closely and sleep together.

Alyssa was running a fever on Monday night and it was only on Tuesday night that we finally saw a doctor and we discovered it was hfmd. We checked Nadya's throat on Wednesday morning, found red spots and hurried her to the doctor, who confirmed that it was indeed hfmd.

We're using Dettol to clean the house every morning now. Especially areas where the girls have touched. The adults are washing their hands often. For myself, my hands are getting pretty dry with the constant washing.

Anyway, here's praying for the quick recovery of both girls and that everyone, adults and kids alike, stay healthy and happy always!!
