Which is worse?
9 years jail or 18 strokes of the cane.
We were talking about it during lunch yesterday. It’s weird but the guys generally preferred the caning rather than the jail sentence. And the ladies preferred the jail term.
Perhaps the ladies get more squeamish at the thought of skin splitting open when the rattan lands on it.
Whatever it is…I guess the 20 yr-old boy will have to live with both of the above for the rest of his life. Sigh…

jail term is temporary, the strokes are for life. got to see which one u choose. live in shame 'openly' or the other.
