Lawyers

I realized lawyers are extremely conversant in English.
They speak fast, speak articulately, think fast and think articulately.
One would think they were born & bred only on English.

I was left flabbergasted when my lawyer started conversing in Mandarin with me. Being equally eloquent, articulate, fast and clear in his speech as he would be if he were speaking in English.

Darn bilingual. I’m embarrassed at my Mandarin at times like this…Gosh...
How can people be so bilingual ah?
