Things have been...busy.
Gran was discharged last Tuesday. Went back to the nursing home...
4 days later...she was admitted into CGH again. All because of one thing: stubbornness.
She walked on her own. Carrying her waterbottle..wanting to go to a sink to rinse it and then refill it...Fell, landed on her bum.
And now she's bed-ridden with a fractured left hip. Groaning in pain every few minutes.
Going on 92...and she might have to go for a hip replacement op.
We've always nagged at her..threatened her...not to walk on her own.
Now she's finally done it. And she's finally in a situation where we've all been dreading for so long.
She's only stayed at the home for 1.5 weeks in the past month. And we're paying for the full bed there...parents have the intention of pulling her out to save on the cost...and then re-admitting her back in when the op is over..

This week is a crucial week..and I just submitted a paper to the GM...
He's notorious for picking at anything and everything. Not a single paper has been approved without going through more than 3-4 drafts..with some oging up to 10 drafts...or so I've been told...
