Last night, I faced my first dilemma in Nadya's primary school journey...
She had a Math "test" paper in her bag. She was supposed to complete it yesterday and return it to the teacher today. She'd done part of it in school and the rest at her student care centre.
I looked through her answers and there were several wrong ones.
My dilemma was whether to....
(1) Highlight those wrong answers to her and teach her how to get the correct answers...
or
(2) Leave them be and let her experience some small setbacks...can't be shielding her from wrong answers all the time...
Discussed with K and we ended up with the 2nd approach....
Monitor and see how...hopefully the teacher gets to explain to her how to correctly solve those questions that she got wrong.
