It's not been a very smooth start to the project so far.
The venue which I submitted the event bid with is about to undergo a very major renovation and is likely not able to accomodate my event anymore. My brother is similarly affected for his Dec 2012 event. We joked that that manager, whom we both know, might be against the Sngs.
Jokes aside. We both feel like we've been screwed over and we both now have to look for alternative venues for our events.
Though my event's anticipated number of attendees is only about 600-800, the room requirements are quite heavy and my event spans over 11 days in Feb 2013. I just opened the tender for venue space and I hope suitable providers do come in with suitable proposals.
