This sucks. WTF.

I have a cousin who is about 5 years older than myself. Relatives have been bugging him and me to get married for the longest time but he has borne the brunt of it because he's older. We used to always say we would wait for the other to get married first before we would ourselves.

And now, by sheer coincidence, the both of us are holding our Chinese wedding dinners this year. Two weeks apart from each other. His first, then mine.

And we're not allowed to be at each other's wedding. Some pantang reason of "double happiness" and "you cannot let a happy occasion clash with another happy occasion".

Wah lan. Sad.

As it is, 2 of my cousins will be in Australia studying and won't be able to come back. Another cousin has got a strange affliction where he would get vertigo and ringing in his ears if he takes salt and hence he can't make it as well cos he can't eat restaurant food.

Now there'll be a total of 4 cousins who will not be around during my wedding dinner.
