which is which?

Over-protectiveness vs Over-bearingness vs Well-meaningness...

Not sure if brother had so much head-butts into his life from mum and dad when he was at my age..Or perhaps he had less because they were still working then (and thus had less time)....And of course, the inevitable..he's a guy and is thus entitled to less interference cos he is less at the losing end...as was highlighted during an argument with dad a few years ago...hmm..

Appreciate the thoughts and concern..
Appreciate the love and care..
Appreciate the advice as well...

But it does get over-bearing at times, even if things are said or done in the spirit of well-meaningness.

As is the story of the moth emerging from its cocoon. When a moth is ready to emerge from the safety of its cocoon into the outside world, help not to break its cocoon apart to release it. You might think that your actions have spared the moth the tiring struggle of breaking the cocoon in order to gain its freedom. But in actual fact, that very path of struggle and perseverence endured by the moth is the essential key to the strengthening of its wings and ultimately its survival and life.

Hmm..hope my wings are strong....*flap flap flap*
